Change the corner radius of a shape in Illustrator

The corner radius determines the roundness of the rectangle’s corners.

• To change the default corner radius, choose Edit> Preferences > General (Windows) or Illustrator > Preferences > General (Mac OS), and enter a new value for Corner Radius. Alternatively, select the Rounded Rectangle tool, click in the document window, and enter a new value for Corner Radius. The default radius applies only to new rounded rectangles you draw, not to existing rounded rectangles.

• To change the corner radius while dragging with the Rounded Rectangle tool, press the Up Arrow key or Down Arrow key. When the corners are the desired roundness, release the key.

• To create square corners while dragging with the Rounded Rectangle tool, press the Left Arrow key.

• To create the most rounded corners while dragging with the Rounded Rectangle tool, press the Right Arrow key.

How to Create a Pop-Up Window

Simple, really. To create a click-initiated pop-up, just copy and paste the following code into the body of your HTML document:

You can edit any of the text in bold but do not change anything else.

To create a automatic pop-up that loads as the page is opened, copy and past this text into the <head> tags of your page:

You’ll either need to create another page (named “popup.html” in this example) that will display your pop-up content, or just change “http://www.someurl.com/popup.html” to whatever page you want to display within the pop-up window.  You may also want to adjust the width and height to accommodate the content.

If you want to include a link that users can click to automatically close the window, add this code to your “popup.html” page wherever you want it to show up – usually at the bottom:

You can change “Close Window” to whatever you want the text for your close link to be.

Touch screen laptops used to be a thing of the future, but the future is today. The LifeBook P1510D is a nice Fujitsu touch screen laptop computer not only because it has a touch screen but also because it is light cheap and practical. At 8.9 inches of screen real estate, you will find that there is plenty of room for your day to day activities such as watching a movie, surfing the web and even light gaming.

The keyboard in this machine is not spectacular. As with all small machines, the keyboard is small, it is not as cramped as some other netbooks, but it is advisable to have an external keyboard if you plan on doing more typing with these touch screen laptops. The hard drive comes at 30GB which is sufficient for most people’s needs.

The touch screen is nice and responsive. At 8.9 inches, you have enough room to do most things. The machine is great for doodling and simple note taking. The machine weighs 2.2 pounds and is definitely light. It is small enough to fit into your bag but big enough to be able to work of it.
